Let us stand with the new 44th president-to-be of the United States and support the Path he was called to uphold and the Path he has chosen to Light the Way for humanity. Barack Obama's Aquarius rising reflects the United States' Aquarius Moon and the Age of Aquarius wherein, through humanity and its enlightened leaders, the new culture and civilization must emerge.

Scorpio Solar Festival Full Moon
Early morning Thursday, (1:17 am, eastern time), November 13th, is the solar festival Full Moon at 21 degrees Scorpio/Taurus. The NGWS invites everyone to the festival by reciting the Soul & Great Invocations and the Mantram of Integration.

Mantram of Integration
I am one with my brothers and sisters
And all that I have is theirs.
May the love that is in my Soul pour forth to them
May the strength which is in me lift and aid them
May the thoughts which my Soul creates lift and aid them.

Scorpio & the Battle
Scorpio bears the Harmony Through Conflict ray, Ray 4. From Scorpio and streaming through Pluto, Mars, and then Mercury (depending upon the consciousness of the receiver), the energies of the warrior enter humanity. Scorpio is the 8th sign, and along with Taurus, the purveyor of resources, money and finances. Scorpio creates a battle (Mars) in order to reorient (turn upside down, a Ray 4 process) the lesser values to the greater (values). Scorpio (humanity), through trials, suffering and the Nine Tests, is always the triumphant warrior. Thus the meditative seed thought for Scorpio at the solar festival: "Warrior am I and from the battle I emerge triumphant." This is the Soul speaking, which battles with the crystallized (of necessity for a time) ways and behaviors of the personality until eventually the smaller self (personality) understands that direction from the Soul is an evolutionary step upon the Path toward home, the Father, and Spirit.

Reviewing Scorpio
We are in our last week of Scorpio. Soon we'll be under the influence of Sagittarius, sign wherein Thanksgiving, the feast of appreciation, takes place. Before leaving Scorpio let's review its importance and significance.

Scorpio is the sign of deepest waters and of darkness, of death and transformation (through Pluto as ruler). Through Mars, Scorpio's personality & Soul ruler, it is the sign of the Nine Tests. Much is hidden within Scorpio, thus it is the sign of the mysteries and Ancient and Ageless Wisdom. We (humanity), the Scorpio warriors, in our descent into matter (an experiment of the highest spiritual order) and through our suffering and struggles, forgot (by necessity) our spiritual origins, essence and purpose. In our forgetting we then lost touch with the higher levels of consciousness as we explored and experienced life within form and matter. It was an experiment of heavenly proportion to have spirits enter, embrace and be "clothed" in matter. And the experiment continues.

Kali Yuga
Our most recent times of darkness are esoterically referred to as the Kali Yuga (Ages of Darkness & Forgetting). However, we know that wherever there is darkness, ever present at its very essence there is Light (Vestal Light). This is the light continually burning in the sanctuaries of Catholic churches (and many other churches and temples) worldwide. This spark of light is also an inextinguishable fire (Agni) within us. Scorpio is called the sign of the disciple and the sign where reorientation takes place. It is this "fiery light" within that is eventually summoned by the Soul and strengthened by Scorpio's Nine Tests. The personality, reorienting as it does from things of matter toward that of Spirit, "dies" and the Soul assumes control. This occurs during a specific lifetime in Scorpio. Our present world is presently experiencing this spiritual, esoteric and astrological shift. For our understanding and knowledge, which bring an end to confusion, it is good to know these things.

The Election, Number Eight, Ray 4, Harmony Through Conflict
Concerning the election and Senator Obama being elected the 44th president of the United States. Forty-four equals an eight (44=8), the sign of Scorpio, the sign of battle and reorientation. Scorpio distributes Ray 4 of Harmony Through Conflict. We will be in darkness, in battle and in conflict, before the Light is renewed. Let us stand with the new president and support the Path he has chosen to Light the Way for humanity.

6th Subrace – the Loving Understanding Ones
The new subrace of humanity, the new millennial young ones, many reading this now, is the new 6th subrace (of the 5th race) referred to in esoteric Wisdom teachings as the "Loving Understanding Ones". They come from their parents who were the 5th race of people. Race in this case has an esoteric meaning, which includes all of humanity and does not signify a specific culture. Each "race and subrace" (levels of development) has tasks to develop and bring forth for the well-being of humanity. The 5th race, the Aryans, meaning the Thinkers were to develop the mind and bring forth mentality, the process of clear knowledge and intellectual thinking. Their children, the 6th subrace (of the 5th race) are to bring forth Loving Understanding. This is esoteric.

Tasks of the 6th Subrace
The 6th subrace has two tasks – intelligent thinking AND loving understanding. Barack Obama signified, represents, manifests, speaks the language of, and thus called forth Loving Understanding. This swung into activity the desires and aspirations of humanity so mightily that a coherent movement (voting) occurred the results of which (will) institute the new heaven and the new earth. This, in turn, brings in the new Kingdom of God on Earth (the 5th Kingdom of the Soul) and creates the new order, culture, civilization and new Ways of life. The elections evoked within humanity a call to higher spiritual realities. Coming from Chicago, solar plexus of the United States (the solar plexus must reorient toward the heart), Obama became the foremost agent of change. And the people responded in (and with spiritual) force.

The week: Thursday, Sun opposite Neptune brings cloudy vision before spiritual integration then occurs. It's v/c from 9:12 am till moon enters Gemini at 12:11 pm. At lunchtime we chat ceaselessly. Friday Mercury squares Chiron. With the Gemini moon, we discuss our wounds and their healing and begin to reorient toward wholeness.

Saturday there's a short v/c from 11:17 am till 11:52 am when Cancer moon begins. The days are becoming cooler in the northern hemisphere. We seek warming foods – soups, breads, curries, pot roasts, potpies and apple pies, chilies (Hatch chilies) and stews. Who's cooking and where are you serving?

Sunday Mercury trines Uranus. An excellent day of intergalactic communication and messages from on high. We communicate well here on earth, too, in large amounts about everything, unceasingly (Jupiter). Then late afternoon/evening we stop talking and get down to business, become disciplined and a bit stern. We become taskmasters (Saturn), happy ones (sextile), when Mercury sextiles Saturn.

Monday morning is v/c till 1:07 pm. Leo moon takes us through the afternoon and evening. At 3:30 pm Mercury squares Neptune. We're lost in thoughts, nebulous and confusing. This lasts all evening. Tuesday we simply cannot compromise, feel a bit wounded, erratic and try to find love in all the wrong places. It's a difficult Scorpio/Leo day. We're called to "decentralize."

Wednesday, fourth quarter Leo moon day, a short v/c begins at 4:48 and ends with Virgo moon at 5:12 pm. Foods at dinner must be pure and wholesome. We review the last three weeks.

ARIES (March 21-April 20): Share your desires and aspiration with those you love. Ask for responses. This allows for a more expansive sense of self. Careful not to be overly aggressive with monetary issues or resources held in common with intimates. Rebellion could occur and then your Mars will act up and all's lost. Think a bit more philosophically. Dive deep into the world. Stand tall with initiative.

TAURUS (April 21-May 21): You can be assured whatever you give in relationships will bring forth a powerful response. Notice what they are. There is passion and pride and assertiveness in the work you're doing, a most important job indeed. Are you seeking advisors and alliances, perhaps a change of environment? Accept suggestions, allowing others to feel your cooperation. We know you're the illumined mind. You're teaching others.

GEMINI (May 23-June 20): Whatever limitations or obstructions are arresting forward movement, they will cease as opportunities arise and new arenas of where and how you can further will appear. Careful with encounters. Call in your Venusian grace which will dissolve any resistances. Be extra alert and conscious concerning your diet and health. An ill Gemini can't disperse information very well.

CANCER (June 21-July 20): Attempt to be more efficient and orderly in your daily life especially with time and resources. During these weeks a new structure is forming so you can tap into your creativity hidden so deep within you're unaware of how many possibilities for creativity you actually have. You also need a bit more fun and playfulness. What would that mean for you?

LEO (July 21-Aug. 22): The planetary focus continues to be at home where all your thinking, personality needs, desires and aspirations are residing bright and happy along with you. There are many things hidden at your home, even perhaps you during this time. There is also much work to be done there, which not only expands your sense of building toward something new but brings you actual joy. What menagerie of creatures are you tending now?

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Is your mind racing so fast you cannot hold any more information? Do you want your ideas and thoughts to be heard by others but find that often when speaking a bit of this and that is missing? Do you need to communicate with siblings, school friends or neighborhood people? If so, observe how you talk and what you say. Be conscious of the power and intensity behind your voice. Step back a bit. Garden.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): A gift is being offered. It's a shift in how and what you think. If you ponder upon the content of your thoughts what do you find? Are your thoughts kind and caring? If not, then what is their primary focus and content? There are schools that say what we think of creates the substance of our daily life. Be cautious, be generous, cooperate more, be kind.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): An opportunity will be offered restructuring how you use money and resources. You seek to increase income. With wise choices (and with tithing) this will occur. When we give so much more is returned in terms of our needs. There will be both challenges and benefits experienced. Stay poised throughout for your stance and equanimity (and tithing) is of great future importance to your well-being.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 20): It's best to retreat in the next couple of weeks to months because your energy is withdrawn and what's best for you is solitude, quiet and contemplation. Less and less work is best, too. You will not be inactive although it may feel this way. When inner work is being done to us, we need to embrace shadows, depths, and draw the curtain a bit. You sense this. Follow it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21-Jan. 20): New potencies and abilities are growing within. You (and others) may not notice but if there's unease and uncertainty it's a sure sign that inner growth is occurring. This is both subtle and prevailing. Although you feel it you have few words to describe it. A deep inner sense of self is developing and what you know challenges others. Let this all happen easily and on its own. You'll emerge into a new light.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21-Feb. 18): It's important to be out and about in worlds both professional and social. Do so as much work as is possible. However, maintain caution, move slowly, don't allow too much pride to limit your way and should a struggle between two opposing forces appear, step into the shadows, back up, and find your way home again. The new day will dawn soon enough and once more out and about you'll be.

PISCES (Feb. 18-March 20): A new place is being formed in the world for you - new friends, social interactions, professional opportunities. Because you're Pisces these could be slow in coming or hidden behind veils or waves of water. Maintain at all times integrity, warmth and friendship. Link these to aspirations. Soon there will be a blending, meeting and a synthesis. Others will help you. Your work, though different and often hidden, is valuable.
